  • Dinosaur Stocking Stuffers: Small Gifts Under $25, What Fits, and When to Order

    October 17, 2026 5 min read

A good stocking is mostly small things, and that's where dinosaur stocking stuffers get hard. Most dinosaur merchandise is a shirt or a hoodie, which won't fit in a stocking and costs more than a filler should. So this guide sticks to the small end of our shop: things that fit in a stocking, cost under $25, and still have a dinosaur on them.

Everything below is a real listing on our store today. Prices, sizes and shipping times come from those listings. Christmas timing is near the bottom, and it matters, because every item is printed to order.

    Dinosaur stocking stuffers by price

    $19.99 Dinosaur socks One size, women's 5 to men's 12 Almost anyone
$22.99 Dotted dinosaur notebook 5.5″ × 8.5″ Journalers, students, the office

For scale, our own dinosaur Christmas stockings are 13″ × 19.3″. Everything in the table fits in one, the notebook included.

Under $10: stickers and a magnet

Stickers are the classic dinosaur stocking stuffer, and the cheapest thing we sell. We print 29 designs in two ranges, all in the dinosaur stickers collection.

The original range is waterproof vinyl that the listings describe as suitable for indoor and outdoor use, in sizes from 2″ to 6″ square. For a stocking, the seasonal pick is Rex's First Snowman, at $3.99 for a 2″ or 3″ sticker. For a child, three or four small stickers feel like more of a gift than one big one, and they cost about the same.

The newer opaque range is printed on high-opacity vinyl, which covers whatever is underneath. That makes it the better choice for a teenager's battered laptop or water bottle. Synthwave Dinosaur is the one most likely to go on a laptop: a 3″ is $3.99, and the 15″ × 3.75″ strip is $8.25.

For adults, the Winosaur magnet is a fridge magnet with a wine joke on it, $7.99 for a 3″ square up to $9.99 for 6″. It's thin (0.8 mm) with a black backing. It's a good add-on for someone whose dinosaur phase now comes with a corkscrew.

Under $20: socks, ornaments and a scrunchie

Socks are the safest stuffer in the shop. They fit anyone, they get used, and they roll up small. Our socks list one size that fits women's US 5 to men's US 12, with cushioned soles. Each pair is $19.99, and the dinosaur socks collection has 35 designs.

For Christmas morning, Santa Hat is the obvious pair: dinosaurs in Santa hats. For a pair they'll wear in July too, T-Rex Skeleton is a quieter fossil print.

An ornament turns a stocking gift into a tradition. Our wooden ornaments are made of Hinoki wood, printed on both sides, with a red paper ribbon and a magnetic back, so they also work on a fridge after the tree comes down. They're $17.99 each and come in six shapes, including a little stocking, from about 4″ to 5¼″ tall. Tree Rex is the one to start with. The full set is in the dinosaur Christmas ornaments collection.

For a smaller stocking, or a baby's first Christmas, the Watercolor Dino ornament is ceramic, printed on one side, about 2½″ to 3¼″ depending on the shape, and comes with a gold string. You choose the shape (circle, heart or oval) and the baby-dino design. It's $17.99.

The Neon Dinos scrunchie is $16.99: glowing green dinosaur outlines on black, with a removable bow. It's one of the few dinosaur gifts that suits a teenager who'd be embarrassed by most dinosaur gifts.

    Under $25: a notebook

At $22.99, a notebook is the top of a stocking budget, but it's the gift most likely to be used every day. Four of our five notebooks have 140 dotted pages, a wire-o spiral and a soft-touch cover, at 5.5″ × 8.5″. Minimalist Dino is the understated one, a tiny dinosaur on a sand dune, so it works for an adult as well as a child.

    Three dinosaur stockings, filled

If you'd rather not build one from scratch, here are three that work. Totals are at today's listing prices, before shipping.

    • For a dinosaur-mad kid, about $28: Santa Hat socks ($19.99) and two 3″ stickers, Rex's First Snowman plus one more from the original range ($7.98).
    • For the tree, about $22: a Tree Rex ornament ($17.99) and a Rex's First Snowman sticker ($3.99). It's a Christmas morning gift that goes straight onto a branch.
    • For a grown-up, about $28: T-Rex Skeleton socks ($19.99) and a 3″ Winosaur magnet ($7.99).

When to order dinosaur stocking stuffers for Christmas

Every item here is printed when you order it, so each has a production time before it ships. These are the listings' own estimates, worked back to a delivery on Wednesday, December 23:

Item Production + US shipping Order by
    Opaque-range stickers (e.g. Synthwave Dinosaur) 3–5 + 3–6 business days Tue, Dec 8
Socks (Santa Hat, T-Rex Skeleton) 4–5 + 2–5 business days Wed, Dec 9
Wooden ornaments 1–4 + 3–6 business days Wed, Dec 9
Neon Dinos scrunchie 2–5 + 3–4 business days Thu, Dec 10
    Original-range stickers (e.g. Rex's First Snowman) 1–2 + 2–5 business days Mon, Dec 14
Dotted notebooks 1–2 + 2–5 business days Mon, Dec 14

The magnet and the ceramic ornament don't give an estimate on their listings, so treat them like the slowest items and order them early.

If you're filling a whole stocking in one order, the slowest item sets the date. Socks plus a sticker is a December 9 order, not a December 14 one. These are estimates rather than guarantees, and December carriers run late, so a week earlier is the kinder plan.

    Dinosaur stocking stuffer FAQ

What's the cheapest dinosaur stocking stuffer?

A 2″ original-range sticker. Most are $3.99, and the Happy Birthday T-Rex sticker starts at $3.29.

    Do the socks fit kids?

The listings give one size, fitting women's US 5 up to men's US 12. That suits teenagers and adults. It will be big on a young child.

Do the wooden ornaments ship outside the US?

The listing says they ship to the US, Canada, Europe, the UK, Australia and New Zealand only.

Will a notebook fit in a stocking?

Yes, in a full-size one. The dotted notebooks are 5.5″ × 8.5″, and our Christmas stockings are 13″ × 19.3″.

    Are the ornaments breakable?

The wooden ones are solid Hinoki wood, 9 mm thick, so they'll survive a stocking. The Watercolor Dino ornament is ceramic, so put it in the toe with something soft around it.

If you only buy one thing, make it a pair of Santa Hat socks. It's festive on the day, useful all winter, and fits nearly everyone.
