T-Rex Shirts: Our Tyrannosaurus Tees for Adults, Kids and Toddlers

Every dinosaur fan has a favorite, and for most of them it's the one with the big head and the small arms. A T-Rex shirt is the easiest dinosaur shirt to get right as a gift: nobody needs it explained. The short version

T-Rex shirts for adults

Start with the plain one. The T-Rex adult dinosaur shirt is exactly what it says: a Tyrannosaurus design on a soft tee, in nine colors from Black and Navy to Heather Prism Lilac and Pink, XS through 4XL, $24.99. The listing describes 100% combed ring-spun cotton at 4.2 oz (heather colors are blended with polyester), pre-shrunk, side-seamed, with shoulder-to-shoulder taping. Its size chart runs from 16½″ wide at XS to 30″ at 4XL, so if you're buying for someone else, measure a shirt they already like and compare.

A T-Rex shirt for dad

Cool Dadasaurus Rex is the one for a dad who will wear a dinosaur shirt to the school pickup and not mind. It shares the widest size run in this guide, XS through 5XL, in eight colors including Olive, Heather Dust and Steel Blue, $24.99. Combed ring-spun cotton, 4.2 oz, pre-shrunk. One limit the listing spells out: it can't ship to South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan or Japan.

T-Rex shirts for kids

The kids' tees share one shirt: 100% soft jersey cotton (heathers are part polyester), pre-shrunk, side-seamed, a relaxed unisex fit, youth S–XL. The listing's chart goes from 15¼″ wide and 20⅞″ long at S to 18¼″ wide and 24⅜″ long at XL.

Seasonal T-Rex tees: Halloween and Christmas

Be honest with yourself about the date: the adult tee quotes up to 5 business days to print and 7 to ship, so an order placed on October 14 could take until Friday, October 30 at the long end. Do they run true to size? Rex's First Pullup, Chillin Rex and Christmas Arms Rex say they run bigger than usual. The plain T-Rex, Half Moon, Samurai and kids' listings include a size chart; compare it against a shirt that already fits.

Can I get adult and kids' T-Rex shirts that go together? Yes. There's a T-Rex tee under the same name in adult XS–4XL and youth S–XL, and T-Rex or Treat comes in adult and toddler sizes. Check the photos to make sure the designs match the way you want.

Is there a long-sleeve T-Rex shirt? Not right now; every T-Rex tee here is short-sleeved.
